Meet Milda
I’m a textile artist and sustainability-obsessed fabric alchemist, stitching together art, fashion, and storytelling from rescued and upcycled materials. Think less fast fashion, more Jungian textile goblin. My work lives at the intersection of slow fashion, wearable art, and intuitive making, where imperfections are intentional and every piece has a past life and a personality.
Before I went feral in the best way, I worked as a Hollywood costumer and costume designer, taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and designed fashion in New York City. My career has spanned everything from Alexander McQueen to Target, high concept to high volume, fantasy to function. These days, I channel all of that pedigree into sustainable textile art, one-of-a-kind garments, and creative education that encourages people to make less, make better, and make it weird.
